Disability activists appreciated the Jakarta administration for facilitating people with disabilities to watch Formula E car racing live at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC), Ancol, North Jakarta, on Saturday (6/4).

Aldi Bersama Kami (ABK) Foundation Chairwoman Anita Yulianti disclosed the invitation for people with disabilities to watch live the electric car race is a testament to the government's respect and recognition for people with disabilities.

"Formula E in Ancol is a proud sporting event for the people of Jakarta, especially North Jakarta," she expressed, Saturday (6/4).

According to her, the invitation was also a form of appreciation and brought happiness to the disabled community.

"This is proof of our existence, Jakarta's disability is the same in the eyes of the administration," she said.

She hoped that what Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan had done was an example for other regions, as people with disabilities in Jakarta were very accommodated and facilitated well.

"We have felt the slogan of Jakarta Disability Friendly today," she admitted.

As for the information, as many as 10 visitors with disabilities received free tickets to watch the Formula E car race in Ancol, North Jakarta, today. They claimed to get free tickets from the administration.
